Job requirement:
- BS in engineering and/or business management with sales and marketing experience
- Operational field experience with turbo-machinery ROT equipment a plus
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented, technical environment
- Computer skills required, well versed in the following applications: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Power Point, Adobe Acrobat
Job conditions:

Job Description Summary:
It is the Mission of Artec Machine Systems to provide to our customer’s turnkey custom designed mechanical power transmission solutions for new and existing equipment. See scope of works:
Artec Machine is also sole acting agent in North America, held responsible for all new and existing projects, accounts and field services associated with the following referenced principles.
- Kissling Gear – manufacturer of cable car gear units (ski lift gear units) used mainly for gondolas and chairlifts. Special gears for co-rotating twin screw extruders. Kissling Gearbox Repair
- ZF Transmissions, manufacturer of cable car gear units (ski lift gear units) used mainly for gondolas and chairlifts.

Position based on experience will include but is not limited to the following:
Product Development and Sales for the above referenced product lines which includes:
- Preparation of engineering quotations which include in depth descriptive evaluation of the principle product being offered which includes evaluation of customer equipment specifications and review
- Interfacing of Artec’s products or principle products with the customers driver/driven equipment, which includes, coupling selection/evaluation, foundation considerations, instrumentation requirements, etc.
- Involvement of interfacing aspects associated with the installation of new Turbogear/Marine gear projects. I.e. Gas Turbine Generator Drives, Steam Turbine Generator Drives, High Speed Gas Turbine Compressor drives for oil recovery applications, Synchronous motor drives.
- In order to interact with the customer, position requires knowledge pertaining to many types of instrumentation and their function/selection as applied to gearboxes: Briefly this includes
vibration probes, RTD’s, thermocouples, accelerometers, etc.
- All field problems in our territory (US & Canada) are coordinated/managed through Artec, operational knowledge in this area is a plus. Various troubleshooting problems may be encountered i.e.: High rotor vibrations, wiped bearings, high bearing temperatures, worn gear teeth, failed gear teeth, lube oil problems (type consistency, system problems), lube oil seal leakage’s, train alignment problems, etc.
